Ahrnebergs was a furniture maker company in Insjön, Dalarna.

The village Insjön is well-known to Swedes as the village with a lot of mail order companies and this could perhaps be the explanation that Ahrnebergs with a workforce of 100 also had about 100 people working in their homes with wood- and metal craft in high season.

Things made in copper was very popular in the 1960s and 1970s and everyone wanted to decorate their kitchen with old copper objects. The auction prices of old copper rose, companies began to produce new copper items mainly för decorative purpose and train- and boatloads of Turkish copper objects were imported. In the 1980s the market craze ended. Today the Swedish flea markets and charity shops are crammed with vintage and Turkish copper.
