Mark is well known as an expert on the BBC series Antiques Roadshow, but also on the new BBC2 show which he co-hosts with Kathryn Rayward Cracking Antiques. Mark has written many books which include Fat Lava, Hi Sklo Lo Sklo, Frank Thrower & Dartington Glass by Eve Thrower & Mark Hill, Michael Harris: Mdina Glass & Isle of Wight Studio Glass, Cracking Antiques by Mark Hill & Kathryn Rayward, Miller’s Collectables Price Guide 2010-11 By Judith Miller & Mark Hill. In the past Mark was a specialist at Sotheby's and Bonhams. Mark has a eclectic taste in antiques and collectables and an unbounding enthusiasm which is infectious.

Mark Launched his new book on Caithness Glass Glass at a Association and Friends of Broadfield House Glass Museum event, held on 12th March at Broadfield House.

Mark Opened the More than Fat Lava Exhibition in Amsterdam on Saturday 18th of June. The exhibition ran for 6 days, and had over 400 visitors.
