Hi all,

We just registered, we're excited to be a part of this interactive forum. We're Arte Moderne in Illinois, USA and we are buying, selling and collecting Mid-Century pottery, specializing in Dutch pottery. We usually carry a nice inventory of Groeneveldt, Westraven, Mobach, Zaalberg and Ravelli plus many more. Also German, Italian and US pottery from the 50's thru 80's.
Our website is:http://www.artemoderne.com
We hope we can contribute to the forum with some useful knowledge about our field of expertise.

Kim and Willem,

Hello Arte Moderne,

So from what I read on your site, you are in a suburb of Chicago? What is the first response of folks that come into your store for the first time?

I liked the format of your photo gallery....changing pictures and music to accompany them.

Hi Monica,

Thanks much for your note! Quite honestly, and with some pride, what we hear most is "Sensational" and "where have you guys been all this time".
Our selection is all near mint and people love the fact that we don't charge Chicago prices!Jake
Anything you're looking for? Let us know and we'll put you on our list.

Thanks again,
Kim and Willem

I am almost exclusively west german pottery and a tight budget. A few months ago, I broke down and bought something Icelandic. That was a rash move for me. pingu
