Post by emieldebeste on Sat Sep 05, 2009 3:14 am

Hello everyone,

We still have a lot of work to do, but at this moment i am already very happy Very Happy with my new website.
We have to change somethings to make it easier, for example* to switch between different factories, and a search-box, but we are working on that.
I also have to upload hunderd's of items, to complete this website; but a good start is made.

Please check it out !!
And if anyone has good or bad comment, i'll be happy to hear so!!

Very nice website, nicely designed. Examples of lesser-known GP, which is always a plus for those wanting to learn. One tiny tip, however, perhaps you could consider changing the "and" into "und" in the factory names? After all, these were German factories. Just a little suggestion, the website is lovely.

Thanks for your kind comment Jozef!
I also tried to change the "and " for a "&"-mark, but this isn't possible in HTML ( on this place then... Sad ). I also gave it a quick thought to change it into "und", wich i can understand; But in this stage i'm going to leave it in english, because the whole site is in english. But you made a good point there..... i just have to give it more time to think it over..

Thanks anyhow Very Happy

I understand why you have not quoted the prices for the pieces but this will probably put off some people from asking and perhaps curtail some sales.

On the other hand, the tone of your site is very approachable......you sound approachable.

The visuals are very good, uncluttered...even from a low vision standpoint.... Christine

Thanks Monika,

I agree completely, and also thanks for your kind words !

I will add prices to them in a later stadium. Maybe not to all of them, but to most of them.
For the prices i have to check other websites first, so i don't overcharge my prices of the pottery that i love... Very Happy
First i have to upload more than 1500 pictures, and make a lot of pictures new. Because they are not good enough to my standards for this website. ( and that's just the pottery..... then comes the glass, and other stuff like lamps nad my old Art Deco postcards made by Chiostri, etc. etc. )
I'll get there someday....

Very Happy Very Happy
