**NATIONAL GLASS COLLECTORS FAIR - 15th NOVEMBER 2009**
The National Glass Collectors Fair is one of the most anticipated events in the antiques calendar, bringing together around 100 of the most respected glass dealers in the UK. The next fair takes place on Sunday 15th November 2009 and will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum (junction 6 of the M42 – near to the NEC, Birmingham).
Collectors will be spoilt for choice when they explore the venue’s three large exhibition spaces, which will be filled with rarities from an unbelievably diverse range of periods.
Entry is from 10:30am to 4:00pm and costs £5 (accompanied children are admitted free of charge). For further information, including directions, visit www.glassfairs.co.uk or tel: 07887 762872.

Well, (touch wood !), there have been no problems so far with children and the glass. In truth, not many parents do bring their children to these sort of events, although they are very welcome, of course.
You can fly into Birmingham International airport and stay at the Crowne Plaza hotel in the NEC complex which is very close to the fair venue. We have organised a special rate for visitors (all details are on the fair website on the Location page).
Thanks for your kind comments re the website and look forward to seeing you at the fair sometime!

You are very kind - I've seen the info about travel and hotel and it looks very fine. However, november is scheduled for a visit to Berlin, where I'll go pottery-hunting - so maybe I'll visit Birmingham next year.
It is truly a great website - very informative and tempting!
I wish you a very nice fair

An update: Charles Hajdamach will be signing copies of his eagerly-awaited and important new book, '20th Century British Glass', at the discounted price of £43. He will be found on Stand 6 in Hall 1.
The exhibitor list and floorplan have now been updated on the fair website and some more images added to the Preview Gallery.
The Gallery provides a tantalising glimpse of some of the fabulous pieces of glass which will be available at the fair.
We hope you will come along on the day and see both these and the many other superb items offered for sale.
